Curiosità
L'ultima canzone che scrissi per "Sonic degeneracy": dopo aver scavato negli angoli più profondi e instabili della psiche umana nel Vol. 2, questa canzone riemerge dagli abissi, collegando tutto e fungendo da "payoff" all'intero album, con la riaffermazione dei temi nichilisti del Vol. 1 in una forma leggermente ricontestualizzata. È un brano molto potente ed energico che cattura la maggior parte delle sfaccettature del sound rotgodiano, dal thrash all'hardcore fino al noise, e contiene un assolo spettacolare cortesia di Jan della band death metal Spasticus. Mi auguro sia un finale appropriato per questo lunghissimo, assurdo viaggio che è stato quest'album.
P.S. Le parti parlate nella sezione centrale sono prese da due video del popolare canale YouTube "The Amazing Atheist", nello specifico "Nihilistic optimism" e "But religion gives people comfort!". Roba incredibile.
