Trivia

When "O Agios Pethane"-era Blood and harsh noise collide, this is what you get. A thrashcore version of this song may exists somewhere, and one day you might hear it.

Lyrics are about the preconceived notions of "life goal" and "finality" conservatives and traditionalists have in mind, based on their "teleological" interpretation of the world that perverts scientific facts from descriptive to prescriptive. This is how claims such as "you're born only to reproduce and die" are made, and how our nature and our life goals are erroneously identified with these specific actions. In reality, the only way to truly embrace your nature is to just do whatever the fuck you want, without any regard for what you're "supposed to do" in life. You don't have any purpose or mission - you're just organic decaying matter as anyone else, and whether you fulfill what you're told to do won't matter anyway in the long run.

Lyrics

Conservatives and traditionalists

Still rely on obsolete thought

Trying to interpret science

With teleological nonsense

Science has no moral implications

It just serves a descriptive purpose

The mechanisms we discover

Are just approximated models

Evolution has no purpose

It's just a blind mechanism

The mere fact that something happens

Doesn't mean we can't intervene

Life has no ultimate goal

Our instincts, just contingency

Our universe is not

A conscious, purposeful entity

Stop thinking you're important

No need to strive for transcendence

You're not a virtuous being with a mission

You're the all-dancing shit of the world
