Filmed in 2020.

Trivia

  • At the time of release, the video was even reuploaded by Andrea Diprè himself on his own Instagram page, right before it got banned.

  • To this day, this remains the most viewed Rotgod video, having garnered more than 2000 views.

  • Members of bands such as Spasticus and Lutto appear in the video. Bassist Krost von Barbarie (who also played on some tracks for "Sonic degeneracy") is easily recognizable, in the role of "Shane Embury". Lutto's mastermind Miasma Sulfureo plays both Osvaldo Paniccia and Prof Testo, all whilst flexing a beautiful Sodom shirt.

  • The scenes with my own shadow singing while various trash videos play in the background were shot against a completely white wall, dialing up the contrast 100% to make me look as darkened as possible, and using the white wall as chroma key to insert the videos. When you can't create a decent green screen effect to save your own life, then it's time to get "creative"...

  • The original idea for the video (2018-2019 circa) also included a parody of Candlemass' famous "Bewitched" video, with Jan (Spasticus guitarist) in the role of Dead and of course Krosty in the role of Messiah Marcolin. However, I somehow kinda forgot the idea afterwards - and the cast I had at my disposal was not numerous enough to replicate the "procession" from the original video anyway.

  • At the time, I also shot some scenes featuring the character of Gabriele Paolini, legendary italian TV prankster, but I then discarded them because they were too low quality (the mask couldn't be seen very well) and the video was already stuffed with too many characters. However, some of these scenes were later included in the "making of" video.

  • Other characters that were considered for some scenes and then discarded were Germano Mosconi, Lil Angel$, Canazzo, Pope Francis and even Donald Trump, who was supposed to appear together with Antonio Razzi, Albano and Kim Jong-un.
