Rotgod's Art: Uncertain future

Which lyrical themes are typical for Rotgod? It should be clear by now: blasphemy, anti-theism, nihilism, magnification of vice and moral dissolution, demented/trashy humor and debunking of hippie/new age nonsense. Very cute stuff indeed.

And yet, this mini-release deals with some topics that are definitely more socio-political in nature, and much more focused on our current times. Could I resist the temptation to make a nice little "political grind" artwork, in pure old school "cut 'n' paste" style? Fuck no!

That's why I relied once again on the mighty Krost von Barbarie, by this point a regular guest in Rotgod, and author of other perfect examples of cut 'n' paste extravaganza (rigorously handmade) such as the cover and inlay art for the insane EP released by his own band Dukov, "Death is OK" (strongly recommended to Anal Cunt/GG Allin fanatics).

In this type of collage, the hardest task is of course to make proper room for each image, while at the same time creating a composition that fits the album cover correctly. In the following pictures, you can see all the different attempts we made at piecing the photos together, before concluding "good first" and going back listening to Unseen Terror.
