Trivia

Yes, another song about P.C. hysteria and cancel culture. I know, it's a battle that over time has been increasingly monopolized by people with awful alt-right agendas (which I have attacked just as much in countless other songs), but I think it's still an important issue to tackle on, especially when you can lose your job for expressing a slightly controversial opinion. I have no problems with social justice per se, I just hate its "puritanical" degenerations (especially around opinable topics such as "sexualization/objectification", or advocating for censorship of "offensive" arguments).

Musically, I had fun at recreating the spastic thrashcore/crossover formula of bands like M.O.D., Wehrmacht and Cryptic Slaughter.

Lyrics

Today I posted on Facebook

An ironic picture

Sex was the main topic

Mad, it isn't

Then a social justice warrior

Came from above

And showed me

The way of true enlightenment

Showing women having sex

Is female objectification

While if it's about men

Then it's toxic machismo

How could I be so insensitive

To hurt your feelings so badly

Women are equal to men

Just more sensitive and profound

I'M SO OFFENDED

So we all need a safespace

Even though this means

To stop certain informations

From being communicated

So I researched your Twitter

And found some older post

You used to say disgusting shit

We gotta cancel ya

Cancel culture and trigger warnings

Are made to protect my feelings

The Internet is my safespace

Don't be mean to me

If you hurt someone's feelings

Then you must be censored

Satire and dark humor

Are so fucking offensive

TRIGGERED (x8)

"Man, you're so rude!"

"How can you be so insensitive?"

"Why can't you just behave like a decent, compassionate human being?"

"You're such a douchebag!"

"You're so mean!"

"You disgust me!"

"My ears are so offended by this noise they call music, it's so politically incorrect!"

"Edgelord!"
