Aww, the first song I've ever written. Merciless-like strumming meets old school death metal "labyrinthine" riffing. Lyrics expose cults, rituals and other similar socio-cultural practices for what they are: a way to control our behavior, often in direct antagonism to our self-serving animal nature and to self-interested social progress. This song is a cry for freedom, and an invite to reject certain values that have been with us for too long and take back our more "primitive", "selfish" side.
As George Carlin once said, "leave symbols to the symbol-minded".
